Reckson Sports Amenity Environmental Analysis

The Reckson Executive Park in Rye Brook, NY desired to construct a recreation facility on the Phase 3 component of its existing office complex. Privately owned and operated, the facility would consist of approximately 140,000 gsf of floor area housing four ice skating rinks, locker and changing facilities, and a heated mezzanine area for watching youth hockey games, youth hockey tournaments, figure skating events, and community events. In addition to No Build Conditions, the analysis included three future alternatives for Build Conditions. SEA was a subconsultant to Divney Tung Schwalbe for air quality and noise analyses. Although SEA demonstrated that no air quality or noise impacts would occur, the project did not go forward for other reasons.
